Normalization of Deviance or are we simply sleepwalking into the next crisis?

After more than 2 years of dealing with the Coronavirus, have our attitudes and behavior changed any? Have our decisions and responses during this time helped us to become any less vulnerable (or more resilient) to future pandemics, or any of the other looming crises/disasters out there?

What have the Public and private institutions done by way of documenting what has worked, what is not working, what assets (people/supplies) will be required to build a”road map” for the next pandemic or are they too busy “fighting this fire” to begin the planning and preparation for the next one?

Have we actually addressed those systemic vulnerabilities which exposed our society to the pandemic in the first place?
